You don’t have to spend a fortune or a lot of time updating your home for the seasons. I am going to show you how you can update your home for Spring with just a few simple and accessible accessories, all from online department store Amara.
Amara are always my first stop when I’m in the market for new homeware, especially when it comes to tableware and candles as they always have something a little bit different!
Spring screams pastels and brights to me, as well as daffodils and easter eggs! These gorgeous tinted vases by LSA come in various sizes and shades. I especially love the mini rose pink tinted vase to display my £1 tulips from my local corner shop! They instantly give this corner of my living room a pop of spring-time colour.
Spring isn’t Summer lets face it guys, we still need a touch of warmth in our lives especially in the evenings when the temperature is cooler. However I am so relctant to turn my heating on anytime after April so this 100% pure wool blanket (which is Amara’s own brand) is so handy to have draped over the sofa to cosy up in on a chilly evening. We like to use it as an indoor “picnic” blanket as well! The gorgeous floral cushion is by one of my all time favourite brands Joules, and adds a real pop of vibrant colour to my living room whilst still fitting in with my colour scheme. I love how this particular cushion has a striped pattern on the other side so we can change up the look of our sofa in seconds.
If you follow me on any of my social media channels you will know that I love a candle. I would go as far to say that I am addicted to them! Some people will only light candles during winter but I like to burn them all year around and this coconut wax Voluspa candle is the perfect candle for that purpose. Its scent is SO fresh, relatively sweet and the beautiful glass exterior again adds some vibrancy and a touch of luxury to my bookshelf.
Tableware is where Amara really shines for me. I could spend a small fortune on the huge variety of tumblers available on their site alone! These terracotta patterned dinner plate remind me of something you would find in a little Spanish tapas bar and we’ve used them this week to display various Easter bakes! I’m really looking forward to using them for serving up my Easter dinner to our family over the weekend.
Last but certainly not least is this teeny tiny teacup. Yes it is a bit of a novelty item but there is really something quite special about enjoying a brew from a proper cup and saucer!
Do you like to dress your house for the seasons? How are you updating your home this Spring?
